Graphic Designer / Production Artist
About Innov8 Partners
Innov8 Partners is the parent company behind a portfolio of distinctive consumer brands, including Wild Fox Foods, Noble Outfitters, Linksoul, and Clayton’s Coffee. Each brand has its own personality, audience, and visual identity, and our in-house creative team gets to shape how all of them show up in the world, from packaging on shelves to imagery online to the printed pieces customers hold in their hands.
Our Culture
We’re entrepreneurial at our core. We build start-ups that grow into the big leagues, and we hold onto the start-up mentality even as our brands scale. That means we move quickly, jump in wherever we're needed, and look for people who would never think “that’s not in my job description.”
We’re looking for someone who treats every challenge as a chance to learn and grow, because that’s how careers get built here. We’re big believers in promoting from within.
Every employee at Innov8 Partners is a shareholder through our phantom share plan.
When our brands win, everyone wins. Some of our past wins include 5.11 Tactical and Kevin’s Natural Foods.
The Role
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer/Production Artist to join our team in Modesto and work closely with our Senior Designer. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role supporting a wide variety of projects across our portfolio of brands. You’ll help bring creative concepts to life through production-ready assets, packaging updates, photography support, digital
marketing materials, and print collateral.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the craft and execution side of design. While there will be opportunities to contribute ideas and creative input, much of the day-to-day work involves adapting existing brand systems, preparing production files, editing photography, resizing assets, updating packaging, and responding to the evolving needs of a fast-moving
business.
Success in this role comes from being highly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to produce high-quality work efficiently. We move quickly, priorities shift, and our creative team supports multiple brands simultaneously. Someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in strong execution will do well here.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Senior Designer on projects across all four brands, taking ownership of projects and deliverables as you grow into the role.
- Produce creative assets across multiple consumer brands, including packaging updates, digital ads, email graphics, social media content, presentations, sell sheets, retail displays, website assets, and other marketing materials.
- Support packaging projects through production updates, layout revisions, SKU extensions, mechanical file preparation, and quality control.
- Create clean, effective layouts for both print and digital applications while maintaining established brand standards.
- Edit, resize, and optimize imagery for social media, websites, email marketing, Amazon, retailer requirements, presentations, and other channels.
- Assist with photography projects, including product styling, shot lists, image organization, basic photo direction, retouching, and editing.
- Prepare accurate, production-ready files for print, packaging, and digital platforms.
- Maintain organized working files and help manage the team’s digital asset library.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and other internal teams to support business needs across multiple brands.
- Help maintain brand consistency while adapting to the unique personality and audience of each brand.
- Stay current on production workflows, creative tools, AI-assisted design processes, and evolving platform requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong design fundamentals with a solid understanding of typography, composition, color, hierarchy, and visual communication.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, polished work.
- Ability to work efficiently and manage a high volume of projects without sacrificing quality.
- Comfortable receiving direction and working within established brand guidelines.
- Strong file organization skills and attention to production details.
- Minimum 2+ years of design experience (in-house, agency, freelance, or production-focused environments). Recent graduates with strong portfolios and relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience preparing final artwork for print, packaging, and digital deployment.
- Working knowledge of AI tools for design and production workflows, with a mindset focused on efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Basic motion graphics or video editing skills (After Effects, Premiere, or similar).
- Photography experience or interest in developing photography skills.
- Photo editing and retouching ability, with an eye for color accuracy and natural-looking results.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious, resourceful, and eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for consumer brands in food & beverage, apparel, equestrian, golf/lifestyle, or coffee.
- Familiarity with print production and packaging prepress.
- Basic understanding of how design performs in digital marketing and e-commerce.
Details
- Location: On-site at our Modesto, CA office.

- Employment type: Full-time.
How to Apply
Please submit your resume along with an attached or link to portfolio with work samples that show range, layout, packaging, digital, and any photography or photo editing you’ve done. We want to see how you think, not just polished final pieces, so feel free to include a few process shots or projects you’re proud of even if they’re smaller in scope.
